Shave , oops Save Tigers

( This is a totally fictional story and not related to any living, dead person nor related to any organization) :) This is a story from the late 70's. One day Government of ***** and forest department suddenly realized that population of tigers is declining and they must do something to save tigers. So, they send a notice to all the state governments and state forest departments - Save Tigers. After few years number of tigers declined rapidly, government was astonished while looking at the figures. Then after few years, tiger population went in the ' rare and most protected animal' list, still the number was declining. One day a senior babu found a old circular in a old file, circulated before many years when save tiger project started. On the paper it was written- 'Shave Tiger'. He ordered a probe and after a detailed inquiry, all the forest department officers replied to him: 'It was not possible to shave a living tiger and as we do not have tranquilizer guns

Killing Me Softly

What is there in the mind of all the Municipal corporations and the people running it? Do the people running the corporation and Garden department want to cut down each and every tree in our city? (Situation is same in all the cities) Carefully look around you. slowly all the big trees are vanishing. One can smell a foul play behind it. Politicians sitting on ruling and opposing benches and their near and dears are on the body of Garden committee. Without visiting the spot and noting down the importance of trees, they are giving free permission to cut the trees. I doubt they know the difference between Mango and Coconut tree. How much share they are getting from it? Are you counting how many trees corporation is planting per year? how many of them are surviving? how many trees are getting re-planted and living? India: The Animal Farm

This post is only for the people who love to read . Many years back i read one novel, written by famous author George Orwell - Animal Farm. It is one of the best novel i ever read, focusing on what happened in U.S.S.R , how communism entered from back door and how it fooled the poor comman people. Though characters mentioned in the novel were animals, but they were representing various types and natures of human beings. On one farm all the animals came together to fight against human beings, for freedom and for their own state. They took a oath to serve their freedom and brotherhood. After some time Pig community dominated others with the help of Dogs as their security guards. Other poor animals slowly forgot what was the original oath was. Pigs became rulers of the farm, dogs guarding them and killing other animals who are speaking against them, some time killing without reason.
