Long Term Memory Loss While reading my blog, one will ask the question, why I always write about Pollution, Corruption and population? From my side answer is very simple- These are the three problems of today and will be the biggest problem of tomorrow. Talking about Corruption, why it is growing day by day? Waiting for the prey, Croc in Delhi Zoo. Looks Like a politician waiting for a comman man As now I am living in Delhi from last few months I would like to share the difference and resemblance between any big city in Maharashtra and Delhi. (Main entry of the fort) Fort Malhargadh is situated in Saswad taluka in Pune District. It is the most young fort in Maharashtra built in the regime of peshwas. it a small fort with two temples, one water tank, few wells and underground routs ( now closed). ( Rear Entry ) The stone used to build the fort is not a great quality and one can find the difference between stones used to build walls and Buruj. 'Buruj' near front door is made from good quality black stone. Compare to to it the walls are from local stone, used for the fortification. One can find a 'Nedhe', or a hole carved in the rock due to strong wind. This is near the main entry of the fort. Fort Sudhagadh is Near Pali Ganpati, in Raigad District, Maharashtra. It's a fort covered with thick jungle and deep valleys. The forest is still dense and we can find various species of plants and trees , including plants needed for Ayurvedic medicine treatment. History: This fort was chosen by King Shivaji as a Capital of Maratha empire due to its position, straight walls, protection of other small forts around it, dense jungle and worst road for enemy.But due to some reasons he declared Fort Raigad which is more powerfully build than Sudhagadh as a capital, but this fact does not affect on the importance and place of Sudhagadh. When i was in the forth or fifth standard, my paternal uncle took me to the famous forts of Loahgad and visapur. As a child that was one of the memorable and adventurous trek for me. It was a start my passion towards trekking. The fort i saw before many years was covered with thick jungles and bushes. We ate various fruits like Jungle mangos, various berries etc. The jungle was very thick with less presence of human being. We closely observed presence of Panther, wolves and monkeys with other small animals in that area. It was difficult to find a way from the jungle. Now after more than 18 years i visited Loahgad and Vishpur fort again. Forts were there but the jungle was gone. No big trees, no jungle fruits and no animals. A good cement road is there till the base of Loahgad fort and a rough road for 4*4 vehicle for fort Visapur. In my previous blog i wrote about cutting trees in our cities. it is the remaining part of the post. Traffic Jam= Narrow roads. Narrow Roads= Cutting trees= Road Widening= Increased Vehicle Number in city. Increased Number of Vehicles= Increased pollution= Increased Population in city Increased Population= Cause of all problems. There is not a single political party in India who is ready to accept the challenge to control the population. Increased population is good for them, political parties will get more votes. All the parties are fighting with each other ( at least showing to common man that they are fighting for benefit of a common man) on many issues, but no one dare to uplift this issue of population. As population is increasing number of people has to stay in slums as resources are rare, so they can't afford good food, good living style and good Education.
